Ophunji, in his office, is being interviewed by a reporter from Forbes. He rhapsodizes about American life in the 50s – people kept their self-doubts and depression submerged, and o, so much more was accomplished in business; it’s a topic he’s semi- passionate about, but he mostly enjoys hearing himself talk.
A bell on the wall makes a bell-like tinkling sound. Ophunji ushers out the writer and peers through a set of antique binoculars suspended from the ceiling, which afford him a view of Scambot’s living room (as seen through the eyes of Chee’s photo on the wall). Spotting Scambot mired in self-loathing, he grins widely, reaches for a dial labeled “SCAMBOT – Activism!,” and sings:
T o M o R rrrr OWWWW!
Planets collide and I will preside
T o M o R rrrr OWWWW!
I decorate the walls where your consciousness resides
T o M o R rrrr OWWWW!
How do I make you feel this (and why do I want to?)
T o M o R rrrr OWWWW!
(A twist of my portable polyhedral dial and)
Ophunji tweaks the dial; instantly, Scambot leaps from his couch, despair not even a memory, and sings:
Yes, I will try harder
Yes, I will allow this to come through
Now I must work smarter
Look, I see myself!
I’m 16.2 feet in front of myself
I see my face, I see my arm –
it’s doing that wiggly wiggly beckoning-finger thingy at me
I’ll heed my call, O
Ophunji sings again:
T o M o R rrrr OWWWW!
T o M o R rrrr OWWWW!
(a tweak of my mechanized equinoctial dial and)
Ophunji tweaks a second dial labeled “SCAMBOT – Villainy!,” causing Scambot to sing lustily of evil plans he didn’t know he had.
Ophunji howls along with Scambot via a convenient split-screen visual.
Eagles dive from a cloud and Eagles biting the crowd and All heads bust out bleeding! Bleeding! Bleeding!
Ophunji snaps both dials to “off” and Scambot crumples on the couch, a bewildered husk.

Mike Keneally has been a lot of things in his 35 year career: stunt guitarist/keyboardist, singer/songwriter, orchestral
composer, producer, music director, painter, and more. After getting his start in Frank Zappa’s legendary 1988 big band, Keneally released his first solo album hat. in 1992. Since then he has released dozens more and is working on a new double album.
This recording makes a great workout companion! All tracks exercise my mind while I'm power walking the hills where I live in Massachusetts. Keeps the feet moving for my daily 3 miles. Thank you MFTJ and all Keneally music. rondidonato
I have been a huge fan of the great MIKE KENEALLY for many years. He is such a brilliant talent! I’m really really enjoying the latest MFTJ album a great deal. “What Wally Thinks” and “I Remember When Candy Bars Were A Nickel” respectively are a perfect one-two punch to open up an album! I’ll be enjoying this one for a long long time!! Danny Cavazzi
