about

Insofar as such a thing can exist for a near-complete unknown, this was sort-of my “signature song” in the 80’s . There are two Drop Control versions, a 1986 studio recording and a live cut from 1990.

lyrics

Don’t give me that
You know the feeling
What can’t help but grow
You think you know something
But some things you don’t know

As a basis in fact I’ve learned to react
In a most severe way,
Whereas on the first day
Initial impressions were colder, as ice.
I find myself wishing that things could be nice.

The more I see her the more I like her
The more I see her more I like
She psyches me out I’d like to psyche her
I would like to be her bike

Killer fish
Killer fish
Killer fish
Killer fish
Oh those killer fish
Killer fish
Dig those killer fish
Killer fish
This has nothing to do with the rest of the song but I love those killer fish

Who tossed the straw
Who makes us love
Whose iron fist guides you
Clad in glove

As a basis in fact I’ve learned to react
In a most severe way,
Whereas on the first day
Initial impressions were colder, as ice.
I find myself wishing that things could be nice.

The more I see the more I like her
The more I see her more I like
If she’s the trail I’ll be a hiker
She’s my hmm and I’m her Mike

The more I see her the more I like her
The more I see her more I like
She psyches me out I’d like to psyche her
I would like to be her bike
